Side Show - Cast & Crew

In 2007, Tragoedia Theatre, Inc. produced SIDE SHOW, a modern musical nominated for four Tony Awards in 1998 including Best Musical, Best Book of a Musical and Best Original Musical Score. The show addresses vital issues of acceptance, love, identity, persecution and more in the Depression-era American carnival circuit. Based on the true story of Siamese twins Daisy and Violet Hilton, the show enjoyed a 2 weekend run (6 performances) in late July 2007. Tragoedia's original, curriculum-based program focused on exploring the Depression-era with various projects and assignments. A cast trip to the Coney Island Sideshow in Brooklyn, New York was a memorable part of our educational programming.
